Message from the Oregon Food Bank:

Now that the 2011 NACL Food drive has successfully completed, we wanted to report to you the results which certainly would not have been achieved without your help. In the Portland-metro area all of the participating truck drivers collected 564,716 lbs of food in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties! This will provide 423,540 meals to those in need! Imagine the number of families and individuals who would otherwise not be fed were it not for your personal investment on May 14th.

The way you contributed time on your day off, provided the skills needed to deliver supplies and collect food, and beautifully managed the directions, tasks and time schedule given to you is a pure gift to Oregon Food Bank and all those who benefit from this food drive. Please accept our profound thanks for team in with us to collect over a half-million pounds of food for Oregonians in need.
