Refectory
1. Call to Order:
At 4:45pm
Those present: Roger & Angel
Parmeter, Chuck & Sandy Mussman, Steve & Lisa Todd, Leigh Kluthe and
John Schulling
2.
Approval of Last Meeting Minutes: What Minutes? :-) Lisa will have
out soon!
3. Treasurer Report:
4,201.70 (not including today’s activities)
4. Board
Discussion:
-
Starting next year the board will have staggered
elections of officers. This will insure that there will be
experienced board members to compliment those that are newly
elected.
-
New 2 year board positions effective at the end of
this season: Vice President, Secretary and Data Base (just
established)
-
Positions with 1 year remaining at the end of this
season: President, Treasurer, Watch Party, Community Service,
Sporting Events and Participatory Sports.

Angel Parmeter will be taking over the Vice
Presidential duties at the end of the year.
-
Patty Richardson will be our new Secretary starting
next year.
-
Celeste Abdala has volunteered in serve in some
capacity to be determined.
5. Committee Reports:
Watch Parties:
-
The Slauson’s and Bernadette Suh are assisting
to help set up the watch parties. Suggestion to organize one
tub that would have all the watch party supplies they need in
order to assist (balloons, flyers, candles etc.)

Suggestion to make table tents for the watch
parties that would have upcoming events on them as well as news
of NU.
-
Discussion of present for Ed: Steve and Lisa
will check into a Nebraska polo shirt to present to Ed at the
Refectory during this year’s bowl game.

Ed will order 4 cases of Fairbury Franks next
year. They also will be placed on the new sports food menu next
year.

Ed stated that we most likely will get our
Endowment fund raffle prize money back from Budweiser not
Findlandia. He also mentioned that next year Bud will order the
items we want and they will be then mailed to either the
Refectory or to the OR4NE.
Merchandise:
Special Events:
-
Sandy distributed phone tree lists to board
members to contact in regards to the annual Christmas party and
also to announce a “last call” for joining us for the OSU vs. NU
migration to Corvallis on Dec. 13th.

Angel will be setting up Pay Pal so that people
can use this to pay for attending the Christmas party.
-
30-35 people have signed up to participate in
the Migration to Corvallis.
-
Two limos have been reserved; there is still
room for approx. four more people. Steve will send out an
e-mail to chapter members offering this last opportunity to sign
up.

Angel will be ordering tickets for the
basketball game this Monday.
Misc.
-
Lisa sent checks to: Husker Dan for $75.00,
Salute to the Troops $25.00, $100.00 to the NAA.

Next year, has been suggested to revise the
OR4NE membership form to allow members to indicate what they’d
like included in the annual chapter directory. Hopefully this
will decrease the amount of information being entered in the
database.
