Oregonians for Nebraska Board Meeting Minutes

Dabney State Park

1. Call to Order: Roger & Angel Parmeter, Chuck & Sandy Mussman, Steve & Lisa Todd, Leigh Kluthe, Beal Essink and John Schulling  

2. Approval of last meeting minutes: Approved (noted that endowment total left out)

 

3. Treasurer Report: $401.38 (prior to start of picnic)

4. Committee Reports:

Watch Parties:

• There has been no pre-season meeting with Ed to date as John is having difficulty contacting him. John will continue to try starting Monday.

• Beal reports that the new watch party banners have arrived at the Refectory.

• For the upcoming pay-per-view games the board has agreed to continue to charge $5 per person. A new revision is to establish a family rate maximum of $15. Children 12 and under continue to be admitted free.

• John will be updating the "Letter of Understanding" with the Refectory.

  • Areas to be addressed:

  • More staff and better service is needed at the watch parties. Often there were too few wait staff to take care of the people present.

  • Lisa would love to have real cheese put on the nacho's!

  • Someone from the Refectory who knows how to operate the audio and video components need to be present at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff to make sure it is operating properly and that there are no dead spots.

  • The board would like another commitment from the Refectory to sponsor raffle prizes much like last year where they donated $600.00

Merchandise

• Steve passed around new mug/cup pictures and tally for board members to vote on. (Was noted after meeting that we are in need of new or4ne logo t's)

Raffle Prizes

• Board looking for more raffle prizes. Suggested that we continue to contact businesses and individuals.
