Oregonians for Nebraska Board Meeting Agenda
Saturday, January 12th
1. Call to Order: Present: Roger & Angel Parmeter, Chuck & Sandy
Mussman, Alex Heyen, John Schulling, Leigh Kluthe, Steve & Lisa Todd
2. Approval of last meeting minutes
3. Treasurer Report: $4,757.00
a. $3,000 will be sent to the Foundation for the endowment.
b. Change of signatures needed on account for new Treasure, President &
Vice-President.
c. Inventory of merchandise to Steve.
4. Committee Reports:
Watch Parties:
- Evaluation of Refectory
- Merchandise order, cups, kids clothing, etc. Steve will place order
with Art FX

New business cards, Steve will order with Crocodile Industries
- Raffle items needed for next year…board should coordinate with others
and pick items up in Nebraska if opportunity presents itself.

Community Service:
- Oregon Food Bank Letter Carriers Food Drive scheduled for Saturday May
10th
Other potential activities
- Husker Dan’s Army donation

Boy’s & Girls Club – Back to school drive &/or Christmas

Slauson’s – needy children
Communication:
- Endowment link on web page (Already exists)

Add new pictures to web page – Any new pictures should be sent to Angel

Link to sights, i.e. Nebraska Book, etc. after board approval

Endowment:
- Lisa will send check to the Foundation for endowment
7.
Sporting Events:
- Steve will check into Winter Hawk tickets for Feb or March
- Beaver’s game – Alex will research
8.
Participatory Sports:
- Softball begins the first of May. Steve will send out info on signup
soon. Possible men’s &/or coed.
- Sand volleyball Thursday evenings this summer?
9. Special Events:

Christmas Party wrap up – great turn out 40 attended. May look at
another location next year if attendance exceeds 40.

Picnic – scheduled for Saturday Aug 16th at Dabney State Park. Will check
into
mailings from the University to advertise the picnic.
