Minnesota threatened to drop Nebraska from the 61' schedule due to a recruit transferring to NU after initially regestering with the other school the year before. PS. The recruit Coach Jennings snuck out of the Gopher State was Dennis Claridge, who became Bob Devaney's first great quarterback, and led the huskers to 2 bowl vicories.
