Oregon Food Bank
Spring is just around the corner, and Oregonians for Nebraska is
scheduled to participate in the National Letter Carriers Food Drive for
the fourth consecutive year. In 2007, OR4NE volunteers collected and
sorted more than 14,000 pounds of food for distribution to those in
need. Unfortunately, the number of people who seek emergency food
remains staggering. In fact, 37 percent of those receiving food aid are
children!
WHAT: National Letter
Carriers Food Drive
WHEN: Saturday, May 10, 2008,
1:30pm-5:30pm (rain or shine)
WHERE: Clackamas/Gladstone

Drinks and snacks will be provided. Be prepared for any kind of
weather, and remember to bring work gloves. Teenagers 16 and over are
welcome to participate, and their service hours may applied toward
graduation. If you and your family would like to join us for a little
